Popularity- The favorite of a group of people or particular people that are fond of being around you.

Mapping, brainstorming, freewriting, and speaking with others helps to generate and develop definitions by giving  a better idea and more realisitic views of that word. The more you map and brainstorm it the more the definition is going to clear up and be understandable to you and others.

what leads to popularity? what are popularitys consequences? would be a reasonable prewriting question because there can be so many different ways to categorize it.

It was a bright sunny day, birds chirping and flying through the sky, a light breeze blowing, could be called a perfect day and as im driving my over priced sports car down the road and as im coming up to a curve theres a car coming the opposite direction very fast around that curve. The car accelerated as it saw the traffic light turn yellow and then red. A young couple got the signal to walk not looking both ways first as th ey started to go across the street and the man looked over and went to pull her back towards him but then the woman yelled and got her hand yanked from his as the car came to a screeching stop. There she lays in the road, silent. I got on the phone and called an ambulance and police to come out here. When the ambulance arrived they checked her but she ahd already passed away. the man had to be put in a police car because he was trying to attack teh driver for killing his wife then the police dealt with the driver who hit her and did a sobriety test and failed and they found out he had two offenses before for the same thing. This is not a positive way of getting drunk drivers off the road. He got charged 10 years per previous offense and then another 20 years for the vehicular manslaughter of that woman.
